When I look at your gardening situation, I feel lucky to have a planting bed at all (I admire your determination to grow produce in such an unlikely place). Still, my garden seems so tiny when I compare it to the Amish and Mennonite kitchen gardens that are common in our area. I&#039;m loving some of the container gardening I&#039;ve done this year and will have a lot more to say about it as the season progresses.

Stephanie: Thank you for visiting. Mike (see his comment above) has been one of my inspirations to experiment with low-cost container gardening this season. He does some pretty cool stuff on a fire escape in the city.</description>
