Jabba The Hutt Visits My Small Kitchen Garden

By the end of the day today, I had set 49 or 50 tomato seedlings in my raised vegetable bed. While working out there, I had a bizarre encounter. Yep! Jabba The Hutt visited.

Well… Jabba was the toad I misidentified as a reptile in an earlier blog post. But when I reviewed the photos from our portrait session, I was astonished at my toad friend’s similarity to Jabba The Hutt. It’s like having a science fiction adventure in my own yard.

My garden buddy: Jabba The Hutt

What a nice surprise! I always try to make little areas for them to hide in. What a great partner in “pest management”.
