Robert_H: I’m afraid I’ve forgotten how many bags of squash I froze… and the way the freezer’s stuffed I couldn’t be sure of finding all of them to count. The number 11 comes to mind, and I kept about three cups thawed to make breads over the week after I processed the squash. So, I’m going to guess I got 12 and 1/2 bags of pureed squash from the 27 pound, partially rotten Blue Hubbard.

Wow! That is one mighty squash. I don’t believe I have ever tried blue hubbard squash before. It looks delicious!
